Wrzeszcz is where Gdańsk actually lives: the dense red-brick district where Günter Grass grew up (The Tin Drum walks these streets), now full of craft-beer bars, bakeries and the huge student energy of the Technical University. No sight-seeing checklist — just the pleasure of a real neighbourhood with the Old Town twelve SKM minutes one way and Sopot's beach eight the other.
