Bike rentals, kayak launches and ferry links — the logistics that make the routes work

logistics · every entry links to the nearest hotels

Every multi-stage route on this site can be done with rented hardware: the coast has mature bike-rental networks with one-way drop-offs, the forest rivers have outfitters that shuttle you and the boat, and two crucial ferry links stitch the coastal geography together where roads fail.

Book bikes and kayaks a day ahead in July–August; everything else is turn-up-and-go. Prices are gentle — €8–12/day for a trekking bike, roughly double for e-bikes.

Good to know

Can I rent a bike in one town and return it in another?
Yes on the coast — the EuroVelo-corridor networks offer one-way drops between their hubs for a small fee. Inland, agrotourism farms usually lend bikes free but locally.
Do the ferries take cars?
The Mikoszewo–Świbno barge does (cars and bikes); the Hel water trams are passengers and bikes only. Both run seasonally — check morning departures in shoulder months.
